  • Full Day 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Extended Day 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Financial Agreement

A Financial Agreement signed by parent(s)/guardian(s), Director of Education Programs and Executive Director must be on file for each student.

Financial Aid

Scholarships and Subsidy

All Scholarship Applications are accepted and approved on a first come, first serve basis, and based on income available from Shady Lane School. Families must apply annually.

All applications must include a copy of the most recent tax return filed by the parent(s)/guardian(s). Shady Lane funds scholarship and subsidy support through a variety of annual fundraising and grants specifically supporting scholarship at Shady Lane. Eligibility for scholarship does NOT guarantee actual receipt of scholarship; the total of scholarships granted is limited by the available funds in any given year.

Shady Lane is a childcare partner site of the PA Pennsylvania Pre-Kindergarten Counts Program. Pre- K Counts is a state funded early childhood program that provides high quality prekindergarten classroom education for eligible three and four year old children. If you have questions about the program and eligibility requirements, please contact Chyna Cyrus-Thompson, Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator at or at 412-243-4040, extension 111.

Lunch & Snack

Shady Lane School provides a morning and afternoon snack for all children who attend for the full or extended day program (half day students receive morning snack only). Parents are required to bring lunch for their children each day.

Shady Lane School administrators and staff will work with you as you consider and complete the admissions materials. If you have any questions, please call us at 412-243-4040 or email us at
